The Myositis Moon Walk Schedule of Events

Registration will take place at the black gate near the Pathfinder shuttle at 9:00 for volunteers and 9:30 for guests.

We will start promptly at 10:00 am.  

Anyone arriving after 10:00 will have to enter through the museum gift shop.

Participants must choose their lunch during registration.  The choices are listed below.  If you choose not to eat the free lunch that is provided, you can visit the Galaxy Grill to purchase from a variety of items.  You can find the Galaxy Grill menu on the U. the Myositis Moon Walk Check-In

To speed up Check-in, please bring a copy of your tickets or store them on your phone to be scanned.  If you forget them, someone will be able to look them up under the main name you used to register.

The U. S. Space & Rocket Center has authorized us to use a special entrance near the Pathfinder Shuttle between 9:00 and 10:00.  Anyone arriving after 10:00 will need to enter through the Gift Shop and walk through the museum and turn left toward the Pathfinder Shuttle to get to the Astrotrek Building.  You must tell them that you are with the Myositis Moon Walk.  We will start promptly at 10:00 so we recommend arriving at the Astrotrek building at 9:45.

We will launch from the Shuttle Park area along the green path.  We will make our way under the Saturn 1 rocket, past the G-Force Simulator, through the Apollo courtyard and into the Davidson Center.

When we enter the Davidson Building, patients and guests that have difficulty climbing stairs will have first priority for the elevators.  Everyone else may climb the stairs and wait for us under the Saturn V rocket engines.  

Once everyone is in place, we will walk along the rocket to the end of the building.  There we will land on the moon image for a group photo.  

Please be at the moon promptly at 11:00 to be included in the photo. 

After the photo, we will make our way back to the Astrotrek building.  You can go at your own pace so you can view some of the exhibits as long as we are all back at the Astrotrek building by 12:00.  We have a VERY limited time in the building.  You will have time to return to the Saturn V Hall exhibits after lunch.
