The Myositis Moon Walk, a collaboration between Myositis Support and Understanding (MSU) and the Myositis Moon Walk team, aims to raise awareness and education about Myositis, a rare autoimmune disease which can cause muscle weakness, inflammation, pain, and fatigue.  Myositis affects people of all ages, mimicking other illnesses, making diagnosis challenging.

The Myositis Moon Walk is more than just a walk; it's a journey of hope, healing, and human connection. Together, we illuminate the challenges of Myositis, foster enduring friendships, and discover the extraordinary power of the human spirit.

Join patients, caregivers, families, and friends on May 1 & 2, 2026 at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL for the Myositis Moon Walk.

Registration has Closed but there are two ways you can join us!

First, you can still join the 2026 Myositis Moon Walk in person by purchasing an admission ticket by visiting their website or visiting the check in desk just past the gift shop.

Shuttle Scuttle Update

The competition is heating up for the Three Myositis Musketeers! As of today, Benita has pulled into the lead of the Shuttle Scuttle scooter fundraiser! Jason and Jessica are hot on his heels, but can they catch her before the big race at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center?
